Strange house is a doujin romance sound novel (as described on the physicals) for D.Gray-man, focused on the pairing of Lavi x Yu Kanda. The player plays as Lavi, an energetic man, who's working alongside his always pissy and rude partner, Kanda, as exorcists. The start of the game follows them already out on a mission and depending on the player's first 2 choices they end up on entirely different storylines that follow the 2 men on their way back home, with lots of bad/dead ends for every story line and only 1 true end for each where the 2 overcome whatever struggle the find themselves in and become a closer couple by the end of it.
The story is set after the original anime run / in the post-Ark world.
