well I kinda already said who I am huh lol

I'm a visual novel developer and weeb who really likes fanworks and have started my own collection of doujin fangames. I like digital versions but my favorites are the ones that got physical releases. I scour yahoo JP for games & other doujin when I can, as most of these games are no longer documented online and only pop back into existence thanks to JP listings.

as an indie game dev I love playing indie games (namely visual novels) but there's something special to me about fangames and other kinds of fan doujins (especially ones with physical editions). it's purely for passion and a love of the characters & story with basically no way of getting a return on money- basically, I find it really anti-capitalist and super cool.

my Japanese isn't great, so I don't translate what I have- it's just enough to understand what's going on (sometimes). so this is also me pushing myself to continue my JP studies!

I'm not interested in playing 18+ fangames. if I find physical copies of a game on listings, I may purchase it even if it's not one of these listed fandoms. if you are the creator of any of the games listed on this site and want the info taken down, please contact me but keep in mind this site if for archivable purposes. I want to preserve the works of love by these creators.
